The red building belongs to Adams & Knickle Limited, a fish and seafood company where "The people of Lunenburg have been buying scallops fresh off the boat from Adams and Knickle for more than 50 years..." I'm not sure if they still do. A & K also sold those ivory, wool fishermen's sweaters. They're not just for fishermen. I have one, knit cable with the rolled neck, and I LOVE it!
A dinghy/dink/tender, a dory, a sailboat, Picton Castle's aft and a blue-hulled fishing vessel in the distance:
Dories on the slipway:
Most boats already hauled out or set sail for warmer destinations.

Below: The Dory Shop. Those green-tipped timbers might look like scrap, but next year they'll be key components of two new schooners built by David Westergard. More on that excellent news later...
Always connected. ;)
More to come!
