Lunenburg has something like 23 art galleries, which is especially notable given a population of about 2,300 last we checked. A rare mural adorns the side of Laughing Whale Coffee Roasters, an "artisanal micro-roastery" of organic, fair trade coffee. Apparently, it's also the site for the winter farmers market.

We just met Pierre and Lynn, a charming and engaging couple, through a mutual friend. They are in the process of converting the old Blacksmith Shop into a distillery. They process local apples and pears and also distill molasses into yummy stuff. :)
Magnolia's Grill is probably best known for its homemade soups (the creole peanut is my favourite closely followed by the barley mushroom). During the winter months, only take out soups are available via The Soup Nancy. Yes, those are salt and pepper shakers; they're everywhere. The far wall is papered in currency from around the world. Celebrity photos and autographs and old pics fill in the other spaces.
